HOW: Explore the zoo booklets which teach about wild animals, birds, insects etc. Craft activity section so you can enjoy art time to go with your informational learning. Even a video of a Maori legend involving a Tieke. How fun to write your own legend involving an animal you’ve learnt about from the zoo site! You could also write up the information learnt about your favourite animal and make it into a report/book.
You could bind your creations and donate to the library
