HOW

Use the 5 senses to explore a culture 

• Tastes/Smell

Breakfast/lunch/dinner/street food/traditional foods...

• Look
  landmarks, costumes, environment 

• Feels
  native animals, weather, hobbies, games, sports 

• Sounds

national anthem, songs, pop music, language, greetings, self-introduction, counting to ten!

You can choose to do this digitally or offline in different ways, such as:

Digitally

• Adding your research to the padlet.
• Creating a travel brochure on canva.
• Creating a slideshow
• Creating a short documentary about one part of the culture
• Creating a website about one part of a culture

Offline

• Recreating a famous landmark out of whatever materials you have at home
• Create or share one element of your chosen culture, such as dance, food or clothes.
• Build a whole new country in your home!  Add foods, music, clothes and anything else you can think of to make it look like you are somewhere else!
• Creating a travel poster for tourists
• Creating a brochure with lots of information
